Markerting Tools

There is no shortage of marketing tools and tipsters out there, which is really to your benefit. There are so many marketing tools and programs that you can use to create capture pages, sales pages, forms for your site web conferencing and hangouts, autoresponders and voice broadcasters and email broadcasters. This all sounds great until you realize you don't really need all these tools.

They are handy but if you have a website and domain and autoresponder like GetResponse  and Aweber you probably have all you need. You can easily create a capture page on a sub-domain and use the autoresponder forms then those same autoresponders will keep track of your leads and they won't ever steal them for their own use!

How do you choose which to use? You test them and you look for others you trust that have tested them. I have tried a few marketing suite tools and have come to the conclusion that many are just not ready to be published. The promise is there and it all seems pretty awesome to have them all in one place but I guess they just are not that easy to put together and so there are often a lot of the tools that just don't work...yet.

I was involved with a company that offered a set of marketing tools as way to get you into another part of his business. The guy ended up taking everyone's contacts and laughing about it saying he was teaching everyone a lesson by doing so. Fortunately, I really wasn't utilizing the tools because the site and videos he used to promote it were pretty unprofessional so I think I had 2 contacts that I never spoke to in there.

I tried another one and though it had promise, the guy did not have the funds to get the whole thing together so it too was not fully functional and he did things that I know you just can't do. You can't just grab images off Google from anywhere and use them. This can get you in trouble but most of the backgrounds for his capture pages were made using these images.

Another great way to find out what works and what doesn't is to visit forums. There are loads of professionals who know their way around online marketing and are happy to share their expertise in this setting.

Many tools are free for your use. Visit my site homebusiness-wealth.net to help with more of the basics.

New Kids on the Block

So the other day (Thursday July 9,2009) My daughter, Ashley Nicole Meyers, got to do Make a Wish, she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. Her wish was to meet NKOTB. She is 15 years old and could have wished for many things, but this was her choice and she had a blast! We got to fly to Oakland and stayed in SF at the Hyatt. We hung out and walked around, actually a very, very long walk to pier 39 from Pier 1

We were picked up by a limo the day of the concert and taken to Concord where they were to perform at the Sleep Train Pavillion. There were a ton of people there, mostly woman lol who were all dying to meet them too.

We waited a bit and then were let in to roam around and she bought some NKOTB souvenirs and hung out for a while. We were then met by Dave Brown (NKOTB tour Manager) who was extremely nice, who took us to the meet and greet area where we sat for a few minutes watching all these lovely ladies who were so giddy and excited go up and meet them too.

Then it was Ashley's turn, she got up there and not to ruin anyones rep (not sure if they are supposed to be bad boys lol) but these guys were the nicest group they were so caring and sweet and she was in absolute heaven we got pictures and and she got so much attention it was great but to top it off they said she was going to get to go back stage half way through the concert so Donnie called Dave over and in a kinda make it happen sorta way told him about it and Danny said she could sit with his daughters. They were all wonderful but I think my favorites now have to be Donnie and Danny. By the way they may not be young anymore but dang they have all aged well.

Dave then let us in the NKOTB VIP area and told us to eat and get something to drink we all felt very taken care of with them. We got great seats in the concert and half way through they did exactly as they said and came and got Ashley and her friend,Alisia, and took them back stage. She was so thrilled to be there. While backstage right after the concert Danny came over and gave them a hug and Donnie followed and gave Ashley his cap, the one with the sparkly B.

She had to go into the hospital for a tune up 2 days after the concert and she actually wore that hat to bed for several days. She said it was the best day of her life. In the hospital room she has a little NKOTB set up with the souvenirs she bought and that they gave her and has been showing them off every chance she gets. We have a lot of pictures but these are the pics I could add from here. I am so appreciative to Make a Wish and NKOTB for making her wish better than she could have imagined!

New Home Based Business

If you are starting up a home based business, sometimes it can be overwhelming or even frustrating. What do you need to do? What do you need to know? How do you get started? You probably have a lot of questions and if you already have a business, your upline will probably help you with the basics.

But if you are kind of left to figure it all out yourself it is not as hard as you may think. Here are some basic ideas for you to help you get your business of to a smoother start.

It is a good idea to learn everything you can about the company you are with, so I would suggest you try the products attend any training calls or webinars your company or group offers. You will also want to get a website if you are planning on offering you program and products online.

Even if your company gives you a website, these are great to get you started and to get used to the idea of an online business but many of the other reps or affiliates are going to have this same site and there is so much you can do with your own site even in conjunction with your company website.

So I suggest getting your own domain name and a good affordable web hosting service. I recommend Hostgator for both, they are inexpensive, reliable, the features are great like unlimited bandwidth, unlimited domains, free site builders that make it really easy to create a site with their templates or you can build your own and upload the pages.
