So the other day (Thursday July 9,2009) My daughter, Ashley Nicole Meyers, got to do Make a Wish, she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. Her wish was to meet NKOTB. She is 15 years old and could have wished for many things, but this was her choice and she had a blast! We got to fly to Oakland and stayed in SF at the Hyatt. We hung out and walked around, actually a very, very long walk to pier 39 from Pier 1
We were picked up by a limo the day of the concert and taken to Concord where they were to perform at the Sleep Train Pavillion. There were a ton of people there, mostly woman lol who were all dying to meet them too.

We waited a bit and then were let in to roam around and she bought some NKOTB souvenirs and hung out for a while. We were then met by Dave Brown (NKOTB tour Manager) who was extremely nice, who took us to the meet and greet area where we sat for a few minutes watching all these lovely ladies who were so giddy and excited go up and meet them too.

Then it was Ashley's turn, she got up there and not to ruin anyones rep (not sure if they are supposed to be bad boys lol) but these guys were the nicest group they were so caring and sweet and she was in absolute heaven we got pictures and and she got so much attention it was great but to top it off they said she was going to get to go back stage half way through the concert so Donnie called Dave over and in a kinda make it happen sorta way told him about it and Danny said she could sit with his daughters. They were all wonderful but I think my favorites now have to be Donnie and Danny. By the way they may not be young anymore but dang they have all aged well.

Dave then let us in the NKOTB VIP area and told us to eat and get something to drink we all felt very taken care of with them. We got great seats in the concert and half way through they did exactly as they said and came and got Ashley and her friend,Alisia, and took them back stage. She was so thrilled to be there. While backstage right after the concert Danny came over and gave them a hug and Donnie followed and gave Ashley his cap, the one with the sparkly B.
